Analytics Intern

We are looking for an Analytics Intern to join our team at VonWood and help us bring the wood industry into the 21st century.

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Analytics Intern to join our team. The intern will collaborate with various business units to understand product and business data and the underlying processes. They will be responsible for improving and updating our low-code application in Retool, building new workflows, identifying meaningful insights from large data sources, and designing, developing, testing, and implementing appropriate data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, open-minded, and have a strong interest in data analysis and visualisation.

What wood you do?

As an Analytics Intern you will 

• Collaborate with various business units to understand product and business data and the underlying processes;

• Identify meaningful insights from large data sources; interpret and communicate insights and findings from analyses and experiments to product, service, and business stakeholders;

• Scrape, analyse and dashboard external data;

• Design, develop, test, and implement appropriate data-driven solutions through data analysis and visualisation.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Information Management, Business Analytics and Management, Information Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or related fields;
• Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written);
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working;
• Proactive, open-minded, and flexible personality;
• Proficient in SQL;
• Some programming experience in python or a similar language;
• Bias towards action - We learn by building things, not by talking about building things;
